18.6.2003 Day 28
After initial heavy fighting there has been a long pause in the
war which both sides have spent preparing themselves and
correcting organizational mistakes that caused such horrible
blunders in the early days of the war. The calm period ended
yesterday with both sides launching a full frontal assault. There
were many large battles fought both on sea, land and in the sky.
The BASASS navy managed in a drawn out battle to force the FUTWAT
fleet to withdraw from the North Sea into the straights between
Sweden and Denmark. FUTWAT did better on the continent where a 4
pronged attacked pushed the BADASS forces all the way to the cost
where many were killed. A few survivors managed to cross the
channel most commanders among them.
23.5.2003 Day 2
FUTWAT forces have so far been superior on the battlefield winning
all major encounters. The joy has been short lived however. Dragon
Darqan, one of FUTWAT's top generals, has decided to switch sides
after a bitter defeat to a force under the command of Ogre-Mage
Foo. Two mercenaries have also decided to side with the BADASS
forces on a permanent basis. The news is not all bad for FUTWAT.
Two defections have also happened among the BADASS ranks. With his
homeland surrounded by the enemy, Ogre Nr1 has decided to change
his alignment. The other defector, Crazy, is a considerable shock
to BADASS command as he was one of the planners behind the current
strategy. All in all it looks like things are going to get a lot
more interesting.
22.5.2003 Day 1
The war has begun. BADASS has given top priority to gaining
control of the North Sea. War Chief Teccie reasons that this will
allow for an invasion to be launched directly at Scandinavia.
FUTWAT is marching an army towards the British Channel with the
intention of setting up a stageing area for a cross-channel
invasion. Both sides are attempting to gain swift victory by
directly attacking the heart of the enemy.
